Available Scholarships for 2026鈥�2027
Scholarships are now grouped to help you find awards that match your academic goals:

Transfer Scholarships: For students who plan to transfer to a four-year college or university in Fall 2026.
Continuing Scholarships: For students who will continue their studies at 91猎奇 in Fall 2026.

Within each category, scholarships are listed alphabetically.

General Application Requirements (applies to all scholarships)
All scholarship applicants must:

Complete a personal statement (minimum 300 words).
Provide the name and email address of a 91猎奇 faculty or classified staff member who can complete an online questionnaire about your academic achievements and character.

Additional Requirements for Select Scholarships
Some scholarships may require extra documentation or responses to be considered. If you qualify for one of these scholarships, you will be prompted to provide the necessary information during the application process. Examples include:

A second or specialized personal statement.
Proof of enrollment at a transfer institution.
Verified participation in a support program (e.g., EOPS, CalWORKs, Guardian Scholars, etc.).

Be sure to complete all required fields in the application to ensure full consideration.

Transfer Scholarships

Al Cherry Student Athlete Scholarships

Award Amount:鈥�$500 (two awards annually)
Eligibility:

Open to all majors in 91猎奇's Athletics Program
Minimum 3.0 GPA
Completed at least 6 units at 91猎奇 by the end of Fall 2025
Proof of enrollment at 91猎奇 or a four-year college or university for the Fall 2026 semester requires before disbursement

Athletics Scholarship

Award Amount:鈥�$1,000 (one men's athletics, one women's athletics)
Eligibility:

Open to all current participants in 91猎奇's Athletics Program
Minimum 2.0 GPA
Completed at least 6 units at 91猎奇 by the end of Fall 2025
Must be transferring to a four-year institution in the upcoming fall semester
Proof of enrollment at a four-year college or university for Fall 2026 required for disbursement

California State University Transfer Scholarships

Award Amount: $1,000 (five awards)
Eligibility:

Open to students accepted to a California State University campus for Fall 2026
Minimum 2.0 GPA
Completed at least 30 transferable units at 91猎奇 by end of Fall 2025
Proof of enrollment at a CSU for Fall 2026 required for disbursement

Dr. Deborah Sims LeBlanc Legacy Scholarships

Award Amount: $250 (two awards)
Eligibility:

Open to current 91猎奇 students of all majors
Must be enrolled full-time next year at a four-year college/university, with a GPA of 2.5 or higher
Proof of enrollment for Fall 2026 required for disbursement

Friends of EOPS Scholarship

Award Amount: $625
Eligibility:

Open to all current EOPS students at the time of application; all majors
Minimum 2.0 GPA
Completed at least 6 units at 91猎奇 by the end of Fall 2025
Proof of enrollment at California State University Northridge for Fall 2026 required for disbursement

Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU) Transfer Scholarships

Award Amount: $1,000 (five awards)
Eligibility:

Open to current 91猎奇 students who have been accepted to a four-year HBCU
Minimum 2.0 GPA
Completed at least 30 transferable units at 91猎奇 by the end of Fall 2025
Proof of enrollment at their HBCU for Fall 2026 required for disbursement

Jessica & Jose Villalobos Scholarships

Award Amount: $1,000 (two awards)
Eligibility:

Open to current members of the 91猎奇 STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) Club at the time of application
Demonstrate financial need (based on FAFSA application)
Must be transferring to a four-year institution in the coming fall semester
Minimum 3.0 GPA
Completed at least 6 units at 91猎奇 by the end of Fall 2025
Proof of enrollment at a four-year college or university for Fall 2026 required for disbursement

University of California Transfer Scholarships

Award Amount: $1,000 (five awards)
Eligibility:

Open to students accepted to a University of California campus for Fall 2026
Minimum 2.0 GPA
Completed at least 30 transferable units at 91猎奇 by end of Fall 2025
Proof of enrollment at a UC for Fall 2026 required for disbursement

Business and Industrial Studies Scholarship

Award Amount: $1,000 (two awards: one part-time student [6-11.5 units] and one full-time student [12 or more units])
Eligibility:

Open to business or industrial studies majors at 91猎奇
Minimum 2.0 GPA
Completed at least 6 units at 91猎奇 by the end of Fall 2025
Enrollment in 6 or more units for Fall 2026 and Spring 2027 required for disbursement

Cheng-Yu Fan Social Work Scholarships

Award Amount: $1,000 (three awards)
Eligibility:

Open to current social & behavioral science, psychology, administration of justice, child development, early childhood education, economics, ethnic studies, history, liberal studies, and/or political science majors at 91猎奇
Minimum 2.0 GPA
Completed at least 6 units at 91猎奇 by the end of Fall 2025
Enrollment in 12 or more units for Fall 2026 and Spring 2027 required for disbursement

CalWORKs Scholarship

Award Amount: $1,000
Eligibility:

Open to current 91猎奇 CalWORKs students of all majors at the time of application
Minimum 2.0 GPA
Completed at least 6 units at 91猎奇 by the end of Fall 2025
Enrollment in 6 or more units for the fall and spring required for disbursement

CARE Scholarship

Award Amount: $1,000
Eligibility:

Open to current 91猎奇 CARE students of all majors at the time of application
Minimum 2.0 GPA
Completed at least 6 units at 91猎奇 by the end of Fall 2025
Enrollment in 3 or more units for Fall 2026 and Spring 2027 required for disbursement

Child Development Scholarship

Award Amount: $1,000
Eligibility:

Open to current child development majors at 91猎奇
Minimum 2.0 GPA
Completed at least 6 units at 91猎奇 by the end of Fall 2025
Enrollment in 6 or more units for Fall 2026 and Spring 2027 required for disbursement

91猎奇 Retirees for Student Success Scholarship

Award Amount: $500
Eligibility:

Open to all current 91猎奇 students
Minimum 2.5 GPA
Completed at least 6 units at 91猎奇 by the end of Fall 2025
Provide an additional statement (minimum 300 words) demonstrating a commitment to academic success and community involvement
Enrollment in 12 or more units for Fall 2026 and Spring 2027 required for disbursement

91猎奇 Re-Entry Scholarships

Award Amount: $1,000 (three awards)
Eligibility:

Open to students age 25 or older who enrolled after a break in their education
Minimum cumulative 2.0 GPA
Completed at least 6 units at 91猎奇 by the end of Fall 2025
Enrollment in 6 or more units for Fall 2026 and Spring 2027 required for disbursement

Computer Information Systems (CIS) Scholarship

Award Amount: $1,000
Eligibility:

Open to current computer and information systems majors at 91猎奇
Minimum 2.0 GPA
Completed at least 6 units at 91猎奇 by the end of Fall 2025
Enrollment in 6 or more units for Fall 2026 and Spring 2027 required for disbursement

Dream Scholarships

Award Amount: $1,000 (five awards: [three part-time students currently enrolled in 6-11.5 units, and two full-time students currently enrolled in 12 or more units])
Eligibility:

Open to current 91猎奇 California Dream Act (or AB 540) students of all majors
Minimum 2.0 GPA
Completed at least 6 units at 91猎奇 by the end of Fall 2025
Be DACA (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals) or TPS (Temporary Protected Status) eligible and have applied for or received DACA or TPS approval
Enrollment in 6 or more units for Fall 2026 and Spring 2027 required for disbursement

Dr. Deborah Sims LeBlanc Legacy Scholarships

Award Amount: $250 (two awards)
Eligibility:

Open to current 91猎奇 students of all majors
Two scholarships available:

Must be enrolled full-time next year at 91猎奇, with a GPA of 2.5 or higher
Must be enrolled part-time next year at 91猎奇 or a four-year college/university, with a GPA of 3.5 or higher

Emily and Benjamin Holifield Scholarships

Award Amount: $1,000 (three awards)
Eligibility:

Open to full-time, continuing 91猎奇 students; all majors
Enrollment in 12 or more units for Fall 2026 and Spring 2027 required for disbursement

EOPS Scholarship

Award Amount: $1,000
Eligibility:

Open to current EOPS students at the time of application; all majors
Minimum 2.0 GPA
Completed at least 6 units at 91猎奇 by the end of Fall 2025
Enrollment in 6 or more units for Fall 2026 and Spring 2027 required for disbursement

First-Generation Student Scholarships

Award Amount: $1,000 (two awards: [one part-time student 6-11.5 units, and one full-time student enrolled in 12 or more units])
Eligibility:

Open to first-generation college students (parents/guardians never attended college) of all majors
Minimum 2.0 GPA
Completed at least 6 units at 91猎奇 by the end of Fall 2025
Enrollment in 6 or more units for Fall 2026 and Spring 2027 required for disbursement

Fine Arts Scholarship

Award Amount: $1,000
Eligibility:

Open to fine arts majors at 91猎奇
Minimum 2.0 GPA
Completed at least 6 units at 91猎奇 by the end of Fall 2025
Enrollment in 6 or more units for Fall 2026 and Spring 2027 required for disbursement

Fine Arts, Communication and Humanities Scholarships

Award Amount: $1,000 (two awards: [one part-time student 6-11.5 units, and one full-time student enrolled in 12 or more units])
Eligibility:

Open to fine arts, communication or humanities majors at 91猎奇
Minimum 2.0 GPA
Completed at least 6 units at 91猎奇 by the end of Fall 2025
Enrollment in 6 or more units for Fall 2026 and Spring 2027 required for disbursement

Foster Youth Scholarship

Award Amount: $1,000 (two awards: [one part-time student 6-11.5 units, and one full-time student enrolled in 12 or more units])
Eligibility:

Open to current or former foster youth students
Minimum 2.0 GPA
Completed at least 6 units at 91猎奇 by the end of Fall 2025
Enrollment in 6 or more units for Fall 2026 and Spring 2027 required for disbursement

Health and Public Services Studies Scholarships

Award Amount: $1,000 (two awards: [one part-time student 6-11.5 units, and one full-time student enrolled in 12 or more units])

Open to health or public services majors at 91猎奇
Minimum 2.0 GPA
Completed at least 6 units at 91猎奇 by the end of Fall 2025
Enrollment in 6 or more units for Fall 2026 and Spring 2027 required for disbursement

Honors Transfer Program Scholarships

Award Amount: $1,000 (three awards)
Eligibility:

Open to current 91猎奇 Honors鈥疶ransfer Program students at the time of application
Minimum 3.2 GPA or higher on all transferable college coursework
Completed at least 9 transferable units at 91猎奇 by the end of Fall 2025
Enrollment in 6 or more units for Fall 2026 and Spring 2027 required for disbursement

Humanities Scholarship

Award Amount: $1,000
Eligibility:

Open to current humanities majors at 91猎奇
Minimum 2.0 GPA
Completed at least 6 units at 91猎奇 by the end of Fall 2025
Enrollment in 6 or more units for Fall 2026 and Spring 2027 required for disbursement

Joyce Duren Memorial Scholarship

Award Amount: $300
Eligibility:

Open to current EOPS/CARE students at the time of application; all majors
Minimum 2.0 GPA;
Completed at least 6 units at 91猎奇 by the end of Fall 2025
Enrollment in 6 or more units for Fall 2026 and Spring 2027 required for disbursement

Kuo-Bin Hong Mathematics Scholarship

Award Amount: $1,000 (three awards)
Eligibility:

Open to current mathematics majors at 91猎奇
Minimum 2.0 GPA
Completed at least 6 units at 91猎奇 by the end of Fall 2025
Enrollment in 12 or more units for Fall 2026 and Spring 2027 required for disbursement

Mathematics Scholarship

Open to current mathematics majors at 91猎奇

Nursing Scholarships

Award Amount: $1,000 (two awards)

Open to current nursing majors at 91猎奇 (at time of application)

Ophelia Scott Memorial Fund Scholarship

Award Amount: $300
Eligibility:

Open to students entering their second, third or fourth semester of 91猎奇's Nursing Program in Fall 2026
Minimum 3.0 GPA
Completed at least 6 units at 91猎奇 by the end of Fall 2025
Applicants must be returning to 91猎奇 in Fall 2026
Enrollment in 6 or more units for Fall 2026 and Spring 2027 required for disbursement

Pride Scholarships

Award Amount: $1,000 (two awards: [one part-time student 6-11.5 units, and one full-time student enrolled in 12 or more units])
Eligibility:

Open to current 91猎奇 students who self-identify as an LGBTQ+ individual
Minimum 2.0 GPA
Completed at least 6 units at 91猎奇 by the end of Fall 2025
Enrollment in 6 or more units for Fall 2026 and Spring 2027 required for disbursement

Rising Scholars Second Chance Scholarships

Award Amount: $1,000 (two awards: [one part-time student 6-11.5 units, and one full-time student enrolled in 12 or more units])

Robert Spiecker Memorial Scholarships

Award Amount: $500 (two awards)
Eligibility:

Open to current 91猎奇 students majoring in history, music, creative arts, fine arts or performing arts
Minimum 2.5 GPA
Completed at least 6 units at 91猎奇 by the end of Fall 2025
Enrollment in 12 or more units for Fall 2026 and Spring 2027 required for disbursement

Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics Scholarships

Award Amount: $1,000 (two awards: [one part-time student 6-11.5 units, and one full-time student enrolled in 12 or more units])
Eligibility:

Open to current 91猎奇 STEM majors (science, technology, engineering or mathematics)
Minimum 2.0 GPA
Completed at least 6 units at 91猎奇 by the end of Fall 2025

Service and Leadership Scholarships

Award Amount: $1,000 (three awards)
Eligibility:

Open to current members of the Associated Student Government or College Corps Program at the time of application
Minimum 2.0 GPA
Completed at least 6 units at 91猎奇 by the end of Fall 2025

Single-Parent Scholarship

Award Amount: $1,000 (two awards: [one part-time student 6-11.5 units, and one full-time student enrolled in 12 or more units])

Completed at least 6 units at 91猎奇 by the end of Fall 2025

Special Resource Center (SRC) Scholarship

Open to current 91猎奇 SRC students at the time of application
Minimum 2.0 GPA

Social Sciences Scholarships

Award Amount: $1,000 (two awards: [one part-time student 6-11.5 units, and one full-time student enrolled in 12 or more units])

Veterans Scholarships

Award Amount: $1,000 (two awards: [one part-time student 6-11.5 units, and one full-time student enrolled in 12 or more units])
Eligibility:

Open to U.S. veterans, active-duty members of the armed forces, and dependents
Must provide documentation verifying veteran, active-duty, or dependent status (such as a DD-214, military ID, active-duty orders, or proof of relationship for dependents)
Minimum 2.0 GPA
Completed at least 6 units at 91猎奇 by the end of Fall 2025
Enrollment in 6 or more units for Fall 2026 and Spring 2027 required for disbursement

Wen-Hwa Yang Single Parent Scholarships

Award Amount: $1,000 (three awards)

Open to current 91猎奇 students who are single parents

Open to 91猎奇 business majors who are single mothers
Minimum 2.0 GPA
